TransLink’s commitment to making cycling a realistic option is responsible for buses being equipped with bike racks and for bicycle shuttles. Alternatively, you can take the West Coast Express – Vancouver's commuter rail service – where cyclists are also welcome. West Coast Express currently operates five commuter trains during weekday peak periods, connecting Mission, Abbotsford, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, and Port Moody with downtown Vancouver.
