Highway 91 | 91A

Name
Hwy 91 is also called the Annacis Hwy and the Richmond Connector (east-west). Hwy 91A is also called the Queensborough Connector.

Location/Address
Hwy 91 Consists of two portions - the Annacis Hwy (north-south) and the Richmond Connector (east-west).

Annacis Hwy runs to the west of the Delta/Surrey border (between Hwy 99 to the south and the Richmond Connector & Hwy 91A in the north).

After crossing the Alex Fraser Bridge and East Channel/Annacis bridges, Annacis Hwy (north-south) alters direction running east-west through Richmond (commonly called Richmond Connector or Richmond Freeway).

Hwy 91A runs north-south connecting Richmond and New Westminster via the Queensborough Bridge.

 Description
Total length of Hwy 91's 4-6 lane north-south Annacis Hwy and the Richmond Connector: 25 km. The Annacis Hwy portion is 12 km; Richmond Connector portion is 13 km. Hwy 91A consists of 4 lanes and is a 3.5 km connector between Hwy 91 & Marine Way in New Westminster.

• Richmond Connector portion of Hwy 91 (west)

An alternate route for the Richmond Connector:

• Marine Way (Burnaby)
• Marine Dr (Vancouver)

An alternate route for the Queensborough Connector:
• Hwy 1A/99A (Surrey – New Westminster)
• Hwy 99 (Richmond – Vancouver)
• Knight St Bridge (Richmond – Vancouver)
• east on Marine Dr (to reach New Westminster) from Hwy 99 or Knight St Bridge

Planned Expansion:
